MILESTONES IN OUR JOURNEY

1991

Our current Managing Director – Mr. Arvind Nayak starts Venkateshwara Associates in Bangalore, India, acting as cargo handling agents for ModiLuft – India's first private domestic airline.

First City Travels and Cargo is founded in Bangalore, India upon being appointed as the Cargo General Sales Agent (GSA) for Sahara Airlines.

1994

1995

First City Travels & Cargo starts operations in Delhi, India.

Nayak Aviation Services Pvt. Ltd. (NASPL) is formed as a freight forwarder offering cargo and other related services.

1998

2000

NASPL expands operations to Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Calcutta, and Pune, with office locations in each of these cities.

Further regional expansion into 2-tier Indian cities - Ahmedabad, Coimbatore, Guwahati, Hyderabad; Strengthening the network and accelerating growth.

2002

2006

NASPL opens offices in Singapore and Hong Kong. NASPL is appointed as GSA Cargo for Indigo Airlines in association with ICAN Transport (Bangkok) & The ECS Group (for Singapore)

NASPL enters into a strategic partnership with Vision Australia, a leading Australian freight forwarder with operations in Cairns, Brisbane & Sydney

2012

NASPL is appointed as GSA (India) for Air Niugini, the national airline of Papua New Guinea, and continues to serve as its Cargo-GSA today.
